Help telling my parents about my depression

Hi so im kinda new at this. so anyway, I have depression. I am really goog at hiding my emotions, though. I have NO ideo how to tell my parents about this because they always freak out about the smallest things and knowing them this is gonna be a big ordeal. do you guys have any tips/suggestions/experience? my symptoms are getting worse and i know i need to tell them but i just dont know how. thanks
