Adults. Almost every adult I know has seem to forgotten whats its like to be a teenager, to not be aloud to have an opinion while also being to give one, to be told to do something but when you do its not correct, to be told what you say has no validation, they know what is good for you, your own opinion doesnt matter, theyve forgotten how its feels and how emotional you can get as a teen, how this part molds you into who you will be. Why do they forget its makes it so hard for teens, I feel like I dont matter, Im not someone to take seriously.

I hate it.

Yeah, I understand where your coming from, its frustrating when you feel unheard and your opinions dont matter, so perhaps theres some truth in what you say, some adults have forgotten whats its like to be a teenager, but to be fair, even thought they were once teenagers they now have a different role to play, many more responsibilities to take ownership, they are now the peer, the provider, the sensible one, its the circle of life. Why dont you try and put yourself in your parents shoes, run through their daily responsibilities, experience in mind what their day consists off, the stress, the worries and tiredness? Ask your parents to do the same, ask them to imagain being a teenager just for one day, live out your life in their mind? Im guessing this little experiment may deliver some vital understanding between you both. Its just a suggestion, it could help? @userrose
