Love has no normal state
Some people can verbalize their love easily, others show it through action, through touch. Some express through art. Or songs.
In whatever form it comes to you, always remember to embrace it. Not all sort of love include loving hugs but each of them wants to see you happy

I totally agree I think love is an emotion/state of mind that can be expressed in so many different ways. Hence the popular "what's your love language?" Everyone has their own way of expressing love and also which kinds of expression they are most receptive to.

That's so true, not all of us can express how much we care about our loved ones. It's actually depressing to know that the think we don't love them . I really like your thought process
@Perfectlyimperfect87464 I am sorry that you had to come across such situations. Those are brutally painful.But please don't have any regrets about the way are. Just shine the way you are. Certainly some people will walk way if you do so. But those who really care will see that light and stand by you.
