Hi @L2648, staying motivated can be hard but if you have to do something you'll have to stay focused and remember that nobody else is going to do it for you. Perhaps, to stay focused you can try meditation, which helped me. I hope that helps :)

I put serveal notes on the wall of my bedroom and set a related wallpaper to remind me of that all the time. The goals don't need to be a big one and we'll stay motivated by taking small steps everyday. Don't ever feel unconfident about yourself, always remember that it pays to work hard... Hope my post would be hopeful for you!!!

Finding motivation can be difficult, especially when mental health issues are at their strongest. Taking small steps is very important, make small goals to achieve and be sure to reward yourself for each success. Be kind to yourself if you don't meet those goals. Remind yourself often of the reason why you want to do these things. What do you want from it? How's it going to benefit you in the long run? Positive thinking is hard to do, but it's like eating; we feed ourselves good foods to care for our bodies, so we should feed ourselves good thoughts to feed our minds. Keep pushing, keep trying and you'll eventually get where you want and need to be.

@L2648 yes but you won't like it...neither the "audience"...

You can brake out of depression with pure spite and anger...

You have to do smth you do it dang it and you swear and puff about it till you do it...

You have a bill to pay, you get the fax angry and say what the bubbles I have to pay another bill, you frown your eyes and do it.

Spite, hatred and anger build adrenaline in you so you can brake out of depression and do what must be dobe and after that you get a natural flow of rewarding endorphines too.

I know this is unconventional advice but nooene helped me ever so I tell you what worked for me if I wanted to...

Because i suffer of major depression (severe chronic depression) when I had to take a shower I began to swear like the whole world was coming down and in all languages i knew. I kept on swering till i built ebough adrenaline to go have the shower and it worked too. Before I had major depression I used to enjoy cold showers just to lower my body functions and chill close to hypothermia...or cold showers to let my blood boil...at that time i had mental control over my mind and body.
