My life is falling apart

My father has left significant damage on me awhile back, my mom and dad have since then split up and are now dating other people. But my stepdad is now showing the mentally abusive behaviour to my mom, but she ignores the red flags and it’s really affected me, to the point where when I look at him all I see is my dad. And I don’t want to see it but it’s all I see. Also I have to pick what I want to go to school for soon and it’s a huge stress for me because of all the pressure from my family but it’s all just being to much to handle:( I can’t think straight at home anymore and now with covid I can’t go to school which was my favourite place to focus and have fun. I need some help or advice!

I can relate to your situation a lot I have been living with an Abusive family for freaking 19 years of my life though last two years I managed to get out of house but because of that stupid virus I am here again I am not going to say anything cheesy . I can just tell you how I managed to survive all these years just ignore them I know you care about your mum but I don't think she will listen to you focus on your studies if you feel lonely talk to me or somebody else I know it will be hard but considering you are in school I don't think you can do much now and since we are all stuck at home you can't distract yourself by just going out of the house good luck

Hi, thanks for sharing and being open with us. I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. I can't pretend to know how you feel because I haven't been in that situation, but I know what it's like to live with depression, and feeling like everything is just crashing down on you. I can't offer any professional advice, as it's not my place to do so. But I want you to know that you are not alone in this. Take it one day at a time. One thing I learned is that when you start thinking so much about all the decisions that need to be made, you only get overwhelmed. One thing at a time. That's all we can handle. Please feel free to watch this video for encouragement as well: https://youtu.be/6a1p1_jzM14 Stay safe! It's gonna be ok.
