Recovering from school

Due to my depression and anxiety school is very draining for me. I tend to sleep all day after coming home and not being able to do anything, including homework or free time stuff. Homework isn't the problem though, my grades are more than fine. I just need a quick way to recharge. Now I'm like that crappy recharger from the 1$ store that doesn't manage to recharge your phone because it's draining energy faster than recharging, if you know what I mean.
I need something to do about that. If I had only more time. If I could slow time or speed it up, I'd just speed school up and have a few months until the next day. But I can't.
My therapist says, doing activites makes us more energetic. But meeting with friends or going for a long walk makes me more sleepy and I don't really feel anything afterwards - or is the reward only on the day ofter noticeable?

What can I do (something simple!) to recharge faster? I can't have more than a few hours at a time to do anything before the next day starts. I need something quick and effective and easy. But I'm not sure if something like that exists.
Anyone able to help me out?

(Sorry for my English; not a native speaker. If anything was unclear, ask and I'll repeat.)

Hi. I know what your feeling and here’s my advice. I was struggling with the same thing and what helped me was a hobby just things I like to do. For example I love watching anime and reading manga and it calms me and let me have my moment to feel better plus have a fun time. You just need to find your thing. I really hope you feel better and good luck!
