I have a severely broken leg and didn't think I was down but even after weeks of dealing with this physical pain my mind is still trying to process all the things that I can't do for my family and friends it has me feeling so down and it's really cause my wife to be effected inflow she is supportive and try but this really has me in a bad spot

I literally relate to this post, independent. I also broke my leg last year, and it was an extremely challenging time. It's about more than the injury, I get that. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to chat. I hope the pain starts to become more bearable and that your outlook begins to improve as you start to regain the use of the leg. Hang in there.

@independentHickory2257 I remember it all too well. I felt annoyed and angry and sad and way too dependent and everything inbetween! My husband had not touched laundry in about 8 years, so it was a total change of pace for him.

For me it's a total switch I had been so good about my diet exercise routine house work kiddo activities and blaam just like that crutch no getting off the couch for 7 weeks add that to the mental side of feeling helpless and weak with a wife that need her surgery after I heal it snowballed way to fast.
