Hey, People in My Screen!

Hey, everone! My name's Courtney(because my parents have terrible taste); I'm 18 years old and in college.

Honestly, I've been feeling kind of off (for lack of a better word) for a while, and I'm looking forward to working through this (Have I mastered the lingo or what?).

The weird thing is, though: I act normal.

My friends don't notice anything weird, my parents think I'm awesome. I study and talk and laugh.

It's just that being me and knowing my head, I know I'm not in a good place.

Is that a thing?

Thank you for taking the time to respond! (Guilt-trippin' lalala)

@CourtneysJeep Hi new friend! Nice to have you here. I suffer from depression too (surprise!), but I'm recovering really good at the time.

Anyhow; it's really normal to act normal, like everything is as it should be. I did that for maaaany years (it began the same time as my eating disorder, at 13) too until I cracked at the age of 16. I took me three years to get so bad that I could actually ask for help, but you are further than me, asking for help before it gets too bad. So that's really good! Do you have anyone you can talk to about how you feel? I can only recommend you find a therapist, so you can get help and medicin if it's needed :)

Please ask me questions, if you have any :)

@CourtneysJeep Yeah it sucks, but I'm all better know. I don't feel that depressed anymore, so that's good :)
