Hey, I’m Ash. I’m 19 next week, I’m feeling overwhelmed with all the responsibilities I have to take on as an adult. Trying to escape it by making up my own world and book. But I know that’s not how things work. My dad is pushing me to start college/university and I’ve found what I want to do but I’d have to move away…

Hey Ash, taking on new responsabilities is never easy. On the other hand it is difficult to know "how the world works" in advance. Some years ago nobody would have said that learning to do videogames had any future. Same with creating a youtube channel. Same with drone photography. Trying to scape reality migth be trying to scape a certain reality. And what seems an scape may become a passion and a work opportunity in the futture.
May not be the case, but could be worth a look. Some people have become writters after losing their "how the world works" jobs.
