Lonely Buds!
We get lonely sometimes, and sometimes just want someone to chat to about our interests or our day.
Well maybe through this thread we could try find a bud who we can meet and see if we click or what not :)
maybe Introduce yourself and add your interests and see where it goes from there?
If anyone has more ideas, lets share em!
Btw I'm looking to chat to someone who enjoys movies, tv shows, and some music and art.

I think this is a great thread! Nice to know that I'm not the only one. I think loneliness can actually ruin someone's life - pushes them to make all sorts of impulsive, regrettable choices.
thanks!! @BlueCarmen and I totally agree, loneliness is a serious matter that should be taken more serious and it does effect our lives.
And in itself comes different kind of loneliness as well imo. such as;
a) having zero contact from anyone, social connecting issues and being completely alone
b) having a friend but finding it lonely when you are left alone
c) already are surrounded by people yet feeling alone in the crowd
d) even being around family/partners and not able to social interconnect.
we all got our reasons. Maybe also explaining the kind of loneliness you feel so we get a better idea of what kind of person your wanting to talk to. I think a great way to connect with someone is to be able to relate and understand the other better :)
Btw fellow friends, just wanted to remind you that this thread is for us lonely people, and there is no shame to admit it here. It's not easy and we understand each other that way.
And I think BlueCarmen did a nice intro.
Also an option to put out there and a little bit of a question to all of you.
Sharing the ASL which is a typical chat introduction, I understand anonymity being of some importance to others, but also it could help other members recognize and maybe be able to reach out to a more comfortable age range, gender, so you may add your asl if you would like :)
also since we are able to pm listeners, were not able to do the same with member to member. So an option I could put out there, is meeting in a chatroom.
We dont have a "loneliness" room at the moment, but if you out there feel like it could be a good idea, we could see what options we have :)
In the meantime, keep adding any introductions or questions concerning the lonely bud thread!

Hi. I'm Anita and I turned 21 almost a month ago.
I enjoy drawing and photography. I like tv shows like Arrow, Supernatural, Teen Wolf but my all-time favorite is Friends. I also love music, especially pop punk, punk rock bands but lately I've been listening to pop music too (I usually listen to music on mtv hits or radio while I cook). I like to read too I just didn't read any books in a while. I'm kind of bad at small talk but I love the conversations where I can make meaningless jokes but I also love deep, serious conversations about pretty much anything. I'm awkward and shy at the beginning but once I get to know someone and get the feeling that I can trust them and when I feel comfortable enough...I'm really talkative.
Anyways that's a short description of me. I feel lonely a lot of the time and it would be great if someone would find me interesting enough to talk to.
@anitaa94 I was onstage with the Dropkick Murphy's once. They are about as close to punk as I have been.

I agree it can take sometime to fully open up, but just remember that were in this together :) I'm hoping this can be a thread you can keep coming back to and you can keep adding anything else on your mind!

I think this is a great empowerment thread! Nice one. I feel lonely at the min due to a relationship breakdown and all my friends are in relationships having babies and getting engaged and im back to the start. My friends are always way to busy for me... :-(
Hiya @North3C thanks, I hope this thread helps us lonely people figure a way not to feel so alone :) It seems like there has been quite a lot going on your plate, sorry to hear that. But sometimes when a door closes another one opens, I see it as a beginning of a new beautiful chapter and hopefully 2016 will be a great year for all of us! <3
It can be difficult when your friends are busy with relationships and babies, etc

Hi. I feel the same way. My best friend is married. A lot of my friends are in a relationship.
I find myself checking my phone often just see there are no new messages.
I do not want to child, which makes it infinitely more difficult to find someone.
@Uyamme you never know just where you wil meet the right person. Go out and do things you enjoy, perhaps that person is doing the same things? I have met zillions of people at metal shows I could have pursued relationships with. Some I have actually maintained email contact with for a while. I was not looking for relationships though,
