Neverending Battle of unhappiness
I am 29, make more than enough money, and own a house. However, I am in the Army and am generally unhappy with my job. I do not enjoy it. Many many early mornings, late nights, training exercises, deployments. I feel like I have no time to focus on the things I enjoy in my life. I am 5'6" Male with an athletic body and I do not consider myself ugly. However, I have never been "treated well" by women. It seems like I am constantly ignored by most women. I live in a bubble and appear to have my life together but really I am collapsing in on myself inside. I am struggling with myself because it seems like my dreams in my life are unattainable. I need money, but feel tied down to the army because of the large paycheck I would have to sacrifice if I chose to get out. I would have to serve another 12 years for a retirement paycheck. I just don't know what to do.
