Feelin' a bit invalid

I was inpatient for a bit and my care team said that they would probably diagnose me with anorexia, but they didn't. They also ordered me to be weighed after a week of being there and I lost some weight, but it wasn't much because the other patients were pressing me to get all my meals so that I could go home. They wanted to diagnose me with a couple of things but never did... it makes me feel like it wasn't serious enough.

@passiveplum

Hi. Welcome and thanks for posting and sharing your current situation. It must be tough to feel that you don't think it wasn't serious enough.

It sounds like you also got diagnosed for a couple of things but didn't quite get finished. I'm guessing that you are at home now. I would be interested to know if that make things better for you or not?

I am a listener here, and if you think it would help please feel free to message me or reply to this whatever you are most comfortable with.

Take care
paul

TW suicide, sorry

@calmPaul281 Honestly being home started off really rough. My friend (who sat with me in the hospital) has a roommate who tried to kill herself using my plan (that's how I got in the hospital). And then my friend just couldn't deal anymore because that was a lot of emotional strain.

Then my roommate kicked me out because of the hospital visit and I had to ask my friend to sleep on his couch, where I'm at now. Which is very stressful because I get very paranoid about people I know well and have been abused a lot so it's really scary. But it's starting to get better again.

Hi. Thanks for replying. I agree, it does sound really rough. And with your friend not being able to deal, and your roomate kicking you out, tough times.

And now sleeping on a couch, I'm guessing that is both unsettling as well as stressful and with what you have been through I can totally understand you feeling paranoid.

But you must be glad that things are starting to get better again now.

Take care
paul
