I don’t know what to do and am in desperate need of advice
Sorry but this post is going to be a bit long because I have no one I can ask advice from. Against my better judgement I’m sharing I live in the US and have state insurance. My insurance does not cover eating disorder treatment at all in my state or the surrounding states. We spent hours trying to figure something out between me a therapist and a social worker. Nothing. No treatment is available for me. We found a nonprofit sort of place but you have to stay 100% motivated and you have to be above a certain weight which I’m not. There was several dumb reasons why I couldn’t go there on top of me not being in the right place of my recovery.
Okay my therapist and I decided I could try to get better on my own and I assured her I could. I am having a relapse and last time I had a relapse she was irritated seeming. She said she was uncomfortable sitting here watching me die. That one was a very mild relapse like it shouldn’t have even counted as a relapse
I don’t know what to do. Any advice at all would be great

Hi there. I understand that this is very frustrating and discouraging. Everyone deserves access to affordable treatment. I am glad you are seeing a therapist and reaching out for help, that is a great first step. If your therapist is uncomfortable working with you on this issue, I wonder if you could try to find another therapist that is better qualified or has more experience in working with individuals with eating disorders. I know it can be hard to transition to a new therapist, but it is something to think about. Talking to someone who specializes in eating disorders can make a big difference in the care you receive.
Have you heard of the National Alliance for Eating Disorders? If not, please look them up. They provide assistance with locating affordable eating disorder treatment in your area. They also have virtual eating disorder support groups that I have found to be very helpful when I have not had access to a treatment team. https://www.allianceforeatingdisorders.com/eating-disorder-support-groups-and-programs/
I wish you luck and hope that you can connect with someone who can provide you the help that you deserve. Stay strong and keep seeking out support. You are worth it.
I'm having the same problem and right now I am stuck on a restricting cycle and I feel out of control
