Stomach pain...

I got a big problem. I have eaten normal (for me at least) on saturday but the night between saturday and sunday I woke up to the biggest stomachache I have ever had. It hurt like hell and I couldn't sleep bc it hurt so much. I couldn't eat anything bc then I would throw up (not by choice) and my stomachache would get even worse. I didn't drink much either, bc it really hurts a lot too.

I couldn't do anything but laying curled up, bc any kind of stretching hurt like a b*tch.

On monday I felt a little better, and I could drink water again, but I still couldn't eat. I could sit up a little too. But anyways, I called the emergency-line and they told me to take some pills for too much stomach acid and I did that. And I didn't feel any better, but I took one before bed too.

This morning I felt a lot better with almost no pain, but as soon as I ate something the stomachache was back again with full force. I had been at the doctor, but she says it's bc I have too much stomach acid. But why do it hurt when I eat then? From sunday to today I have eaten like... 3 buns and that's that :/

Have any of you ever tried this? The stomach pain-thing (not just a stomach ache, bc it hurt a lot more)? The 'it hurts phycically when I eat'-thing? The feeling that it hurts when you stand or walk?

Hey @EvilRegalsReadToo

I know this was from a long time ago, and I'm sorry you've waited so long for a response. But I wanted to make sure that this was responded to, incase it is still happening or anybody stumbles across this with the same problem!

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing intense stomach pain after eating, when we go from not eating to eating regularly there are multiple symptoms that come with this, and sadly it can be pretty normal to feel bloated, have stomach pain, have headaches and many more. There is also a chance that an individual could suffer from refeeding syndrome - which is very likely in anorexia recovery. Although this is all things that can happen, it's important to remember that if you feel somethings not right or are in an unexplainable amount of pain, it's best to see a doctor!

They will be able to advise you on the best way to move forward, if its refeeding syndrome they will be able to map our a plan of recovery that would make your body able to manage the intake! Recovery is difficult, especially when we reach these symptoms - but you are not alone! I believe in you, you can reach the other side *hugs*

@emsworld I'm not in recovery, but have reached out. But problem is: I can't get any help. The ED center says that I'm not skinny enough to have an ED, to be sick. But that I can show up there again and get help, when I'm underweight. But maybe I should just go to my "normal" doctor.
