Balance my diet?

How do I balance my diet and stop myself from eating stuff I shouldn't? I mean it's ok to eat sweets sometimes, but after I have eaten breakfast I "should" be full and not eat more, but I always end up adding to my breakfast. Eating more than I should.

I had spinach pasta this morning, and didn't feel full so I added a slice of ryebread with macrel. Is that too much? Bc it sure feels that way frown I don't really know what to do. I have thought about planning my meals for the next day after dinnertime, maybe that could help? Give me your best advice! laugh

hi there! balance is a tricky word when it comes to diet, so i understand your concern! with referral to the example you gave, i don't see a concern for imbalance; a source of carbs with some veggies (pasta) along with a protein source (rye bread and fish) sounds like a good combo, nutrition-wise! our bodies need more energy early in the morning so if your body is asking for something more satiating, you can have it!

of course, when you're always improvising your meals, it can be easier to lose track of how much and what you're eating (or whether you're undereating!) i'd suggest a food diary and meal prepping; you can use the diary for meal ideas besides simple cataloguing for when you're not sure what to make for dinner/lunch the next day! :)
