I think I'm doing better
I used to binge eat. Whenever I was going through a really stressful time at school or with my family, I used to binge eat. The amount of calories I consumed contributed to a small portion of my guilt but I was mostly ashamed because I stole the food from my friends. I used to live in a boarding school so it was rather easy to steal food from my friends. Sometimes I dont even know why I was doing it. It was like my body was on autopilot. But I'm back home now and I haven't binge for 6 months. I can't deny that I have thought about binging. The feeling of just eating a whole pack of chips or a whole tub of ice cream is tempting but I realised its not worth it. It's not going to make me feel better anyways. I feel like I've been eating well and I even managed to lose about 10kg from 83kg to 73kg over these 6 months. So I hope I can keep this up when I go to college at the end of this year.
I’m so proud of you 🤗 you’re doing a great job.
I totally understand the shame. I’m currently trying to recover from binge eating disorder too, the pandemic sent me into a downward spiral and I put on several kilos that now I want to shed in a healthy way.
Keep it up!! ❤️
