Self image and weight gain
Hello everyone!
Even though I've been here for longer, I recently came back since not long ago I opened my eyes and say what was going on with me.
Since I hit puberty I always had problems with my looks. I've been bullied a lot all throughout school which led me to drastically restrict my food intake in general. My main issue was the size of my breasts, that I was trying to reduce as much as possible by eating as little as possible, which kind of worked to some extent.
When I started dating my ex about one and a half years ago I started gaining a lot of confidence on my self and I stopped caring so much about my figure. I started to relax my eating habits and that made my weight to steadily pile up until the point where I couldn't tolerate it anymore. Now I look and feel fat and huge, my breasts have drastically increased in size which now bring a lot more problems into my life that I really don't want to deal with at all.
After a lot of stress and binge-eating, which is a vicious cycle since you want to lose weight but all you do is to eat all you can find, I came across a program organized by a church here that aims to help people with weight problems and health in general.
I'm honestly really excited after meeting with them a few times, they are wonderful people, they seem to really know what they are doing and they are super supportive. But on the other hand I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up and I fear I will end up falling into binge-eating again, just like I did the past few months already...
Anyways I felt like sharing that with you and take it all off my chest.
If you read it all then thank you so much! All possible encouragement will be highly appreciated!

I would say realizing that you need to do something to change your current situation is the first step on the right track. Then finding that church program is like having a plan , and now all you have to do is follow through with that plan. You gotta remind yourself of why you want this and why you are doing it to keep yourself motivated and on track. Also having such a community of people would be both great support and kinda like having an accountability partner to keep you at it.
If you did it once you can definitely do it again ! Keep your head up and try not to allow doubt and worry to linger too much. Whenever you have a thought of doubt, immediatly replace it with a counter positive one about how it all is gonna work out :)
