What about relying alot on hobbies or maybe start doing a new one to focous? An occupied brain is a healthy one!

Also what about cooking your own meals? you make a plan, and you try to make new recipies and cook yummy yet healthy meals. Usually makes people have a healthy relationship with food.

And finally if you emotionally binge, start a diary ! So you can vent :)

ask yourself when you see food "what is a craving really?" and question what kind of satisfaction you will get from it cause you will want more

Hi!

- Have regular healthy meals and snacks. You are much less likely to binge if you've already eaten and much more prone to one if you're hungry! It's also important to try and get back to eating healthy after your binge - there's no need to deprive yourself after and it only makes things worse.

- If you're feeling the urge, see if you can 'surf it' for a while. This might be breathing techniques or distracting yourself. One tip is the Zen10 - trying to postpone everything for at least 10 minutes while focusing on your breath and how you're feeling.

- Try to identify what it is you're wanting - is it a particular food? A feeling? Perhaps there's another way to get what you're looking for.

- Find things that you really enjoy and get lost in the moment in. Things like colouring, knitting, gardening, walking, calling a friend - these can be your go-to strategies when you feel like one is coming on. It especially helps if you pick something that uses your hands so they can keep busy!

- Be kind to yourself. If you binge, that's okay. It doesn't change whether or not you're a good person, good daughter/son, friend, etc. See if you can try to accept it without judging yourself for it.

- Surround yourself with positivity. Being bombared with people we should 'look like' isn't going to help our body image! So it can help to have a bit of a declutter in your feed.
