Food smells makes me nausious
Ok I have had this particular problem for a few weeks now. It can maybe be dated back to when corona got bad and all that (in Europe), and I somehow link this "symptom" to the stress from that. But since for a few weeks ago, I have felt nausios and like throwing up when I smelt food.
I can have known what to eat all day, and wanted it (as much as a girl with restrictive patterns can want food), but when I smelt it, I got nausious and didn't want to it the particular food. Most of the times I just ate some salat (which didn't had a powerful smell), and called it a day, but now I have done that for many weeks and it's clear I'm not eating enough.
I have tried going for foods that doesn't smell a lot, and that has helped a little. To add to that is that I moved into my own apartment a week ago, and since then I haven't eaten a lot, bc I could finally decide when to eat and what to eat. But I experience the same thing as at my parents' home. I make food, I smell it, I get nausious and I just put it in my freezer instead of eating it.
Throughout the day I will have food cravings (but normally don't act on them), and today I ate something I shouldn't have and I have spend all day being really anxious about it. I felt like I should do some kind of workout to burn the calories or something, and I have been doing some at home, but bc of my anxiety disorder and the fact that I'm living in an area I don't know I haven't been able to go on walks, bikerides or anything - and that makes me anxious too.
Has anyone ever tried feeling nausious about the smells of food for such a long time? What was the reason and how did you get through it?

Sometimes everything about food absolutely disgusts me including the smell. When this happens I tend to eat small, bland things such as crackers or apples
