I don't know if I had an eating disorder.

Last year, I stopped eating.

I was never unhappy with my physical appearance, but I was obsessed with the scales. After meals, or even after a drink I would weigh myself. I felt sick to the stomach when I went even slightly over [edited by Anomalia to remove weight specifics]. My main goal was under [edited]. As I continued weighing myself, I also started eating less. I began skipping lunch at school, and then breakfast, and ate little at dinner to make my parents happy. Some days, I could live off an apple or even just a drink. My appetite had gone completely and it made me feel ill to eat anything. I absolutely loved the feeling of hunger and I was always so proud when I felt empty. I was never diagnosed with anorexia, the doctor said I was a little underweight.

Today, I keep track of everything I eat but I have been banned from weighing myself, which I guess is good. As I don't know the cause of my eating problem, I don't know if it could come back at any time. I was diagnosed with depression, so that may have been a part of it.
