I think I have an eating disorder
I think I have an eating disorder. I’ve been starving myself for some time now. It started when I was 11, with just skipping lunch. That led to skipping breakfast too, and now it’s all meals for days at a time. I can’t tell my friends or family because I’m too scared that they’ll think I’m faking for attention (they have before) I feel alone and bad about my body image

Hi there, how we see ourselves and how it affects our life is a very complex matter that can last many years.
When I had simmilar issues (on the opposite team, overeating), through time and reflection I reached a conclussion where how we look and how we accept ourselves is always changing, there is not fixed goal where you get your dream weight or look, and then afterwards you can relax and put your focus on other things.
Being our appearance, and the social point of view about how an ideal appearance should beb so dynamic and unstable, the only way I see to play sure is to try being as healthy as possible. It will allow you to live longer and in a better condition to enjoy your everyday life.
What do you think of putting on a scale the importance you give to your physical appearance, and the worry that might feel the people who love you and take care on you?
Wish you the best and strength to keep going.
