Not sure what's going on. Please someone help me understand.
TW: possible eating disorder
So like two weeks ago i started skipping meals because I thought I was fat. I didn't see anything wrong with it and kinda just let it happen. Now I only eat one meal a day no snacks and today I tried to throw that one meal up. It could have something to do with my trauma and family stress. Idk if it has to be consistent to be considered an eating disorder but I'm really scared and I don't want to go down that road.

Hello there! Thank you for posting here.
Weight can become a concern for many people and the first thing people try to cut off is the number of calories they eat with each meal. It makes sense why you would start with that. However, eating only one meal a day might be too restrictive. What do you think? How do you feel about it? I can understand your concern about going on the path of developing an eating disorder but we don't know what might happen in the future. And the future depends a lot on the present.
You can always chat with one of the listeners here. Sometimes when we put our problems into words, we start getting more insight into what is going on.
Take care and I hope you find the support you are looking for. 🌸
Thank you. Well yes I do think it's too restricted and I tried stopping but it doesn't seem like in making progress. I think I will try to chat with one of the listeners about it.

That's a good step! I recently read a guide on 7 cups about eating disorders and if you want, you can check it out. https://www.7cups.com/eating-disorder-help/
I find these resources helpful in knowing more about certain situations and we can find some useful insights and tips there sometimes. I hope you find them useful too.
Also, did you talk to a listener? I hope you found some helpful resources here. 😊
Yes I have talked to a listener and I definitely got more clarification on what I have and everything. I'm trying my best. I still am trying to comfortably eat two meals a day but it's getting there. I'll definitely look at that guide.
