Overeating

Hello!
Does anyone here have any advice on how to help your brain register that you are full?
It's been incredibly difficult for me to identify the moment in which I'm actually satiated...I really don't know what to do anymore
Any tips, helpful behaviours, questions to ask yourself - I will take anything😅
Thanks a lot 🙏

One thing I noticed, when I eat high fiber/resistant carbs food, mostly veggies, there is this fullness in the belly that seems to translate to better mood. This is the best feeling satiety I ever have. Unfortunately, its hard to stick to good food all the time. And if emotionally triggered, this is not food you reach for.

Your body isn't a machine; it's not as though you can put in a certain amount of fuel and know for sure you'll be "full" until a certain time. Some people need snacks to make it through the day, others are okay only eating at meal times. Listen to your body, and budget out your calories accordingly.

I eat as high protein meals as I can such as eggs, ground turkey, whatever. I then will top it off often with vegetables, fruit, etc. but mostly vegetables honestly. I recommend food with high fiber, and proteins because it keeps you full for longer periods of time

Try to eat slower and drink more water so that you feel your tummy fool
