Teenager and Insecure

Hello everyone or as the Russians say Privet. Ha, I love Russia. Anyway, I am a 15 year old sophomore who is a first generation Gambian to be born in the U.S. My parents and everyone else in my family were born in Gambia, a small West African nation. I have always bee the abnormal one in the family. I stand at 5'5 and of course i end up having long legs. Although i got my period when i was 10, I'm still smaller than an A cup even though my female friends got their periods at the same time as me and are all A cups and bigger. I have always been insecure about the way I look. I've even starved myself and ate small amounts of food to get someone else's body. I now suffer from deep self hate which i can't get out of. I'm ashamed of my interests, my body and everything about me. If anyone can relate I'd be happy to hear :)

I feel the same when it comes to insecurity. I weigh more than my friends. It's weird whenever I'm trying on dresses for band and my size is larger than others. But starving yourself is no way to self-esteem. You may feel like you're overweight, but darling, you aren't. Make sure to eat. If you need someone to talk to, let me know. I'm here to help. :)

@NeotheNeonNerd

I do try to feel happy with who I am but it's impossible. I don't even like being with people because i feel worse about myself. It's rare for me to feel good about myself. It's hard for me
