Hi, it's brave if you to share your struggles since I know it's not easy for some.

It might help if you try reframing why you feel the need to count every exact calories because it could help you understand why you're doing it. Is it out of feeling the need to be in control? Body image? Diet plan? Etc.

I can tell you've been working hard to understand and want to stop feeling this way and it's not easy. Personally I've been going through something very similar too. I hope this platform helps you find the right people who can understand you so you don't feel entirely alone. 😊

Hey there! It sounds like you're really struggling in your eating disorder and aren't sure what to do. I hear how much this is in a lot of what you do, how you plan, and how you feel on a daily basis. If you are looking for some ED resources, I recommend https://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/ which is the website for NEDA, or the National Eating Disorder Association. They have a lot of good resources and starting points on how to get support.

I'm proud of you for coming here and sharing some of what you're going through. It sounds absolutely exhausting. And it is something you shouldn't have to go through alone. I'm glad you are able to notice some of the rules around your ED, which is a good first step toward taking action so that the ED voice isn't so loud, so demanding. Many people find support around eating disorders in the form of a dietitian, eating disorder therapist, and physician. If you're looking for any of these providers, especially dietitian and therapist, look for CEDS after their name (certified eating disorder specialist).

I know it sounds so simple, and what you're going through is impacting so much of your life, and remember your body needs fuel. Not just to move, walk, talk, get dressed, carry out ADL's. Restriction also impacts your ability to think, your memory, your ability to process things, make decisions, focus, and leaves your emotions rampaging against you. It's not fair to you what your ED is doing. You deserve to have energy and nutrition. The restriction, the rules your ED is having you follow to a T only helps it, and only ever hurts you. Your body deserves love.

Proud of you for being here! 🙂
