I'm drained and I think I'm masking it
I think I'm pretending to be okay but I'm not sure. It's so confusing. I feel fine but then my brain is telling me that I'm not fine. I think I'm masking it. I don't have the capacity for alot, I think my social battery is low. I'm just perpetually tired and I guess, lonely.

It's brave of you to be so honest and open.
You don't ever have to be alone here 🩵

Hey @izzyluvsboba, that sounds so conflicting to be balancing the feeling that you are fine whilst also continuing to have difficulties. It makes sense that when your social battery is low, and you are feeling overwhelmed, tired or alone that you would have a reduced sense of capacity. Sometimes our brain can avoid some of the more difficult emotions to enable us to feel okay when life is more difficult.
Is there anything that helps you feel a little less alone, or restores your social battery? I know for me when I recognize that I've spent a lot of time pretending I'm okay, I usually benefit from spending some time to allow myself to feel the emotions (crying, becoming angry whatever it may be). Other times, I need a distraction or some time with friends to help me feel a little less alone.
