My story short

Since my childhood, I've struggled with weight issues, never quite achieving a fite.

When I reached the age of 24, I I realized that I needed to shed the excess weight that had been bothering me for so long, so I opted for sleeve surgery.

Ironically, I wanted to keep the surgery a secret, and only a select few people knew about it. Enduring the pain, coping with small portions, occasional vomiting, and losing interest in various flavors were all challenging, but the satisfaction of seeing positive results and feeling like a hero was worth it. That was until I started experiencing vitamin deficiencies, which led to a sudden trip to the hospital. Suddenly, my surgery became public knowledge, to whom I lied and since than the judgmental looks didn't left me.

After going through pregnancy, I regained the weight, and the sense of failure haunted me, lurking in my closet and staring back at me in the mirror.

It's hard for me to find words to describe myself positively. My mindset is at an all-time low, and my consistency is nonexistent.

I'm lost and don't know how to guide myself on a meaningful journey. I begin, and then I give up, unsure of how to proceed.

@goodSummer2697 I'm really sorry to hear about the challenges you've faced regarding your weight and the ups and downs you've experienced after your surgery. It takes immense strength to open up about these struggles, and I'm here to support you.

Weight loss journeys can be incredibly complex and emotionally taxing. It's important to remember that you're not defined by a number on a scale or the judgments of others.

Regaining weight can be disheartening, but it's crucial to be gentle with yourself during this process. It's not a failure, but rather a part of a longer journey towards overall well-being. Consistency can be difficult, but every effort you make counts.

Seeking guidance and support from a healthcare professional or a mental health counsellor could be beneficial in navigating this journey. They can help you develop a healthy approach to weight management and boost your mindset and self-esteem.

Remember to take small steps, celebrate your progress, and focus on your overall well-being. Take care 💚
