New
Hi everyone, I’m new here. I’ve had an ED since I was 7 years old. I struggled my entire life with it with my weight constantly changing and it also changed my mental-health. A few months ago, I developed horrible anorexia because I would throw up and refuse to eat anything. Now, I am healthier, but gained some “normal” weight and I feel ugly and disgusting. I hate what I see in the mirror and I just want to feel beautiful like how the models are.
Any advice and comments are appreciated :)

You've been through so much 🥺
I'm sorry to hear how you feel a out yourself
It's hard not to compare ourselves to models but in all magazines and photos, they are airbrushed and made to look perfect.
You are beautiful.
You might not feel like it, always.
But it's important day by day, you continue to work on healing and putting you first, you matter as you are, and you've come along way 💚🤗

Food struggles can be really difficult. Sometimes feeling good about our bodies is just too much to ask of our brains at the time. Some people find focusing on what their body can do rather than what it looks like to be helpful.
