Two wars

I’m an 18yo, in Gaza. Bulimia has been part of my life for the past two years. What started as a way to lose weight has become a habit that’s hard to break sometimes turning into weekly bingeing

And the worst part? I still don’t see myself at the weight I want, and it makes recovery feel really confusing sometimes I feel stuck in a cycle like I don’t know how to move forward or if I even can.

I'm sick of it, it's like having whole other life behind the scene, sick of losing control every single time I'm sick of living in such a place

I’m writing this because I’ve spent two years wanting someone to know about this

@lyyn77

🥺

I'm sorry for all you are going through.

Both in your country.

And with you personally.

It must be so hard to speak out and share.

I admire you for that.

It's not easy to ask for help, but recovery is slow, but possible, with daily, small, choices towards wanting to heal.

You've been through way too much and I'm genuinely sorry to hear that 💚

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm 17 years old and I've been struggling with binge eating disorder (BED)

I can totally understand you. It all started years ago when I tried to loose some weight. I ended here with an ed. I still haven't reached my goal weight and I'm stuck here for so long.. I know how it feels. It's overwhelming. Somehow you want to escape from this disorder but you can't.. But remember that. You are not just a number. People don't love you for the way you look. You are a lot more than that. You deserve better. You deserve love and to give yourself a break from all that you are going through. I know how difficult it is... But you are a human not a machine. Please take care of yourself 💗
