hey! My name is Nest and I'm thirteen years old. I've been a member of seven cups for a whole month now, but I'm pretty new to the forums aspect (my first post was two or three days ago). My pronouns are she/her and I'm struggling with what I think might be atypical anorexia. I hope to get healthier!

Contrary to "normal" ideas, the teens are the most turbulent period of our life since nothing makes senseand everything makes sense, times to experiment and try, times we are most vulnerable and tired and mixed emotions and oh boy, it is overwhelming...at least for me...

My first tangent with anorexia in my teens came a bit later and it had roots in abuse and trauma and depression and I lived for three weeks on coffee and nothing else, lost almost half my weight and was skin and bone...

You are very young, it is very gokd that you might have identified an anorexia trait, now is the time to adress it in counsel and therapy and friends and introspection, find out what might have caused/triggered your suspected anorexia...there are so many reasons and causes...

I wish you well 🤗😊
