Looking for advice
Hello everyone. In short, I started restricting my food a while ago, cause I wasn’t feeling right with my body. I only ate “healthy foods “ and I tried to not snack. I started to exercise and I really lost weight. But, since two months ago, I can’t stop binge eating. I just don’t know how to stop, it’s like a cycle. I binge eat, I feel terrible and I hate myself and my body and then I over exercise. In fact, I have lost my period. At nights, i cry and I promise myself it will never happening again. But it does. And I really hate myself for this.
You don't have to feel bad for eating, but if really does make you feel bad, you can make smoothies but please don't eat less just trick your brain into thinking you do thats why i said smoothies, your brain thinks its less food when its not
Tight hugs!! I don’t have specific words of wisdom to address your specific challenges. But be kind and compassionate to yourself. A motherly colleague used to tell me, Tomorrow’s another day, whenever I’d beat myself up over goals not met. 20 years later the words still resonate with me. Life is a learning process, not a miserable struggle. It’s about reflecting what didn’t work so well today and refining it for tomorrow. It will get better. In the meantime, tell yourself what you would tell a friend who came to you with the same challenge. Tight hugs, again!!
@paulalode Hugs for you hun!
