My biggest fear when recovering from a restrictive ED was that I would end up very over weight, which I have. I much as I don't like that result, and the fact that it is damaging to my health; it does helps me to cope when I remember that I spend far more time doing things I actually want to do now, rather than just obsessing over calories and depriving myself. However, I really wish I could find somewhere in between the two extreams. :/ I know it's possible in theory, but in reality a lot of people with restrictive ED's do end up switching to another type of ED rather than being free of ED's entirely.

@TheAsh One of my biggest fears when it comes to recovery is that all my hardwork will be for nothing. I try to get past this by tracking my personal progress but it's definitely still a struggle.

My biggest fear was and still is gaining weight. I have stopped participating in purging, but my job keeps me exercising a lot, and I still get extrememly nervous when I am sick or injured and can't work out.
