Admit It…
Are you one of those people who presses ALL THE BUTTONS on the toys at the store???? ;)
Alternatively, do you squeeze all the rubber chickens at once???
@jesusredeemedme2425 😂😂😂😂😂 I admit it I would be that person, I'd also press all the buttons on the elevator, and try out all the beds in those stores. I'd also be the person who eats all the taste testers, and race up and down the isles😁
Taste testers are people… Why are you eating people??? * squints eyes at you* hehe
@jesusredeemedme2425 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 not the people the food
@jesusredeemedme2425 Only for Halloween I activate all the weird mechanical things in the stores so they get really loud and people get really mad, still I feel compelled to press them all.
I DO THAT TOO!!!! XD
@jesusredeemedme2425 My favorite one are ones with crows, like there was this Addams family clock where a crow came out and cracked jokes, and I like this one doorbell with a single eyeball that snapped open when you pressed it! What was your favorite one?!
The giant spiders that jump out at you XD
@jesusredeemedme2425 Oh I know those, you step on the pad and they jump right?
I think it was a button but idk lol
@jesusredeemedme2425 Must be a different one
@jesusredeemedme2425 No, since most toy stores closed yeeeaaarrrrs ago. (Do you remember when Toys R' Us filed for bankruptcy?)
I meant like at Target and such lol
DUDE YES!!!! It was one of the last surviving toy stores. I think the only ones around here are little mom and pop stores, that’s it. Also, arcades and other places you can play video games, and play places… Basically, anywhere where you can be a kid, has closed. It’s sad… Kids have nowhere to go anymore, except parks.
@jesusredeemedme2425 One major reason for that: cell phones. Also (anti)social media. No point in keeping lots of toy stores & other places open for kids when most of 'em are phone addicts, & you can buy almost anything online & wait for it to arrive at your house.
@slowdecline48 I wrote a book years a go where everyone is chronically stuck indoors and mainly drones fly around outside doing everything, and everyone's beautiful because of advances in medical science and gene tampering. So everyone's enhanced, superior, but sadly tamed by convenience.
@genericbeing If you really did that then...you might've predicted our future. Or at least one possible future.
Also, those of you who activate all the noisemaking toys in a store may well precipitate a massacre one of these days. That s*** is seriously irritating.
Just for perspective, a few weeks ago I was browsing in the local Goodwill store. We customers were all trying to shop, you know, like people do inside a store. This Latina (Mexican or Salvadoran, I couldn't tell) was there with her little boy. She was trying on clothes...the brat had a gun-shaped electronic plastic toy & kept squeezing the trigger again...& again, & again.
The rest of us were not amused by this.
I, however, was the only one with sufficient testicular fortitude to approach the gordita & ask her to take the toy from the kid because after 20 godd**n minutes, I & everyone else in the store needed some peace and f**king quiet.
As she did not habla Ingles (of course), I had to translate it. Thank you, Babelfish-like website.
Once she understood, the gordita took the noisemaker-gun out of her spawn's hands. He immediately started crying, of course. The difference is she didn't hand it back to him right afterward...a normal outcome for those two, according to one of the staff who discussed this with me shortly afterward. (She was grateful)
The next time you feel like activating all the Halloween/Christmas/Kwanzaa/etc. toys & displays at once, do consider the above incident & maybe...just maybe...you could try to have some consideration for other people.
