Advice
Hi everyone! I thought it would be cool to ask what piece of advice you would give your younger self.
I would tell my younger self that's okay to not be perfect, especially at school. I am a perfectionist and there's so much more to life than trying to be perfect at everything. I've spent so much time worrying and I wish my brain was wired different but it's who I am.

This is a great idea for a topic!!
The number one piece of advice that I would give my younger self would be to practice more (or any) self-compassion.
This was and is a skill that I just was not taught growing up. I think things (so many things lol) would have turned out differently if I had. But, I've definitely made the best of it all :)

I totally agree! It can be hard to be kind to ourselves, especially when we are that young, if we aren't taught it growing up. I think that I was taught to be kind to myself, but I've always been so so hard on myself that it was always me. I've always been my biggest critic and like you said, a lot of things may have turned out differently. Thanks for your response! ❤️

One advice I'd have for my younger self is not to rush into so many things just because someone said it was good to do it. I realized now I spent a lot of time in things that didn't mean a lot to me in the long run and me hoping I spent that time in developing something else instead.

Everything will be okay... Don't worry to much
@exquisitePeace7976 This is something I need to tell myself everyday! 😂

You and me both.. Like every minute in the day..
I would tell my younger self to head towards being a teacher! I have found as I have gotten older, that I have a knack for instructing and teaching people new things. I know this may sound strange, but I ended up going into healthcare, because I enjoy helping people, but I also enjoy learning, new things, and I feel if I would have gone to college to be a teacher I would have really enjoyed it more, than healthcare. One reason would be I would still be helping people, but I would be reaching them maybe at a younger age!
Yes, I thought about that and I would love too, but I don’t think I have the energy to really devote myself to that or the time or money. I work full time and take care of my home and my husband. But if things change, I might think more about it. Maybe if I won the lottery and didn’t have to work! Lol!
be more relaxed <3

One piece of advice I'd give my younger self. Hmm.
I don't know. It would have to be something that keeps me from being separated from my boys. I don't know what tho. Maybe to keep my mouth shut more often. I don't really want to think about this anymore.
