What’s the most hilarious thing you’ve ever done out of boredom?

@Phoenixthepoised That’s honestly hilarious! 😂 Now I’m picturing a dramatic battle where the fantasy books form alliances, the classics look down on everyone, and the self-help books try to mediate. Meanwhile, the thrillers are just lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike. 😆📚✨

Ooh, I have a lot because I get bored easily—and I hate being bored. So here are some of the milder things I’ve done (I miss my siblings):
Reply to texts only in literature quotes and see how long before the other person catches on.
Convince my siblings that a completely fake historical event actually happened—and see just how far I can take it.
Dress up my baby brother (which I do a lot—turning him into a princess, painting his face green like a frog, you name it).
Order IKEA furniture just to assemble it—shoutout to @Tinywhisper11 for that idea.
Put toothpaste in an Oreo and give it to my older brother (classic).
Pull endless pranks—so many pranks.
When I was a kid, I was a well-behaved nuisance (yes, that’s a thing). My siblings and I once destroyed an entire greenhouse—smashed the glass, wrecked the plnts and pots—just because we got bored. My dad always says his kids are model citizens (good grades, well behaved)… except when they get bored. When that happens? “They can turn granite into water.” 😂
But the real chaos happened when we were all under the same roof. Some highlights:
We turned the house into an Ultimate Ninja Warrior set, only to break a table (the glass top), a chair (mahogany, we literally chopped it off), and someone’s toe.
Turning the living room into a fort (Then a war zone) – Pillows, blankets, chairs… until someone decided to “defend” their side with a well-aimed potato gun.
Sledding down the stairs (classic)– Laundry baskets, mattresses, anything that could slide.
Taping objects to the ceiling just to see how long they’d stay – The answer? Long enough for our parents to notice and yell. Once we even taped our dad’s passport to the ceiling.
The time we pretended to be a Secret Society – Complete with weird rituals, code names, and one unlucky sibling as the “initiate.” My sister still has nightmares about it. (We had a Dan Brown phase)
Building a raft (We call it - The Titanic Incident) – Tied barrels, wooden planks, and hope together, then set sail in a pond. Immediately regretted our engineering skills. (Thankfully I was not in the raft - because you know, I am a genius - I knew it would sink)
DIY Zipline gone wrong – Strung a rope between two trees, grabbed onto it and launched ourselves. Physics had other plans. But thankfully, my brother and the neighbour kid ended up in the pond.
I have scars on my thighs from attempting to do a horse jump over one of those wired fences—except with a bicycle. ( I was challenged, that lame idea was not mine)
And my brother? He once got kicked by a horse straight into a pile of horse ***… and in the chaos, somehow ended up eating a mouthful of it. He still denies it . The brother doth protest too much, we think.
One time, our dad (who was rarely home when we were kids) had a half-day off. He was with us for 15 minutes before he walked into the kitchen, dropped all the knives in front of us, and dramatically yelled-
"Stab each other and Diiiiiie!"
And my eldest brother... deadpan... just asked, “Gladiator style, or like Hunger Games… all at once?”
Our dad just walked out of the house. Like, straight-up left. Went on a walk. Then came back an hour later with mangoes for us to eat.
Good times.We’re basically walking survival stories at this point. But you’d have to sign an NDA for the rest. 😌 That was a long essay I had to type it out in google docs ..lol , but if it made you laugh... I’m grateful. These things, though dangerous brought us so much laughter and joy. So much joy that even now, if we’re all sitting together in silence, my dad immediately gets suspicious.

@jesusredeemedme2425 Oh, my brother did it! Though it took a lot of tries and patience... There's this huge circular window above the front door in my dad's old house, and the ceiling is really high (Smooth ceiling). Using an indoor ladder we use for cleaning, he climbed up to the window ledge where he could stand. From there, he tied a clothes clip to the stick end of the extendable cobweb cleaner with a ribbon, clipped the passport with a heavy double-sided tape on the back, and lifted it up. He pressed it against the ceiling, pulled the ribbon to release the clip, and gave a small push — and it stuck perfectly!

@Tinywhisper11 Not childhood — our summers and other vacations. After our parents' divorce... well, my dad got custody, but he was a busy man. He sent the elder ones to boarding schools, and then my sister and me to our grandparents to raise us. We all grew up separately, except during the breaks. That's why they were so precious to us.
