Deep Thoughts: Opportunity Cost
I'm reading a kids' book about economics, and it mentioned opportunity cost.
Opportunity cost means:
Choosing to use money, time, resources, etc., one way, means that you are choosing not to use it a different way.
If you choose to spend money on video games, you're choosing not to buy books.
If you choose to eat food that's healthy, you're choosing to not eat food that's unhealthy.
If you choose to use your words to encourage someone, you're choosing not to use your words to bring someone down.
Thoughts? <3
Life is, among other things, one long series of opportunity costs. The greatest cost one bears is, of course, expended time.
@jesusredeemedme2425 I guess we all need to be wise about our choices, though sometimes it's nice to have a little fun and spoil yourself sometimes ❤
