how do I deal with death anxiety? I've always had this problem about thinking of how every moment i feel passes and i can never relive it while also knowing that with each day, i am getting closer to death where there is nothing afterward which really scares me.
@Dime2861 I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I'm not super experienced in that area. Maybe you could speak with a listener who is more advanced in that topic?
@Dime2861 I've dealt with that a lot. Unfortunately there is no way to completely remove "death anxiety" as long as you have sufficient consciousness to be aware that your lifespan is finite. Look up "TMT" or "terror management theory" for strategies to reduce it.
You could also try to believe in some kind of afterlife, I guess. I've never been able to make that leap of faith, but I am open to the possibility that there are other dimensions of existence besides the physical one we all know.

What motivates you to keep being the person you are and does other people’s opinions of you make you feel like you need to pretend to be someone you’re not instead of being your authentic self around them?
@akunknown I think what motivates me to be who I truly am is knowing that if I'm 100% myself, more people will gravitate to me and I will find people who match my energy. To answer your second question, there have been times in person where I tried to fake my personality around one or two people but I'm learning to be myself around everyone
