If you could erase one technological advancement from the world, what would it be?
Agriculture.

The emergence of agriculture (farming) was the main event of the Neolithic revolution. With that, people stopped traveling hunting & foraging & settled down...& brought in all that came with it: waste disposal issues, class differences, formal government (usually a monarchy), reading & writing (& illiteracy in those who didn't learn it), malnutrition from inferior diets, long working hours, slavery, second-class status of women, militaries & organized warfare, etc., etc.
