Gentle Animes I Can Try?
I tried to put this in the TV and Movies section, but it's giving me an error message. So, I figured I'd post this here. If anyone wants to move it when the link is working again, please do! Thank you <3
I'm trying to get into anime; I've never really watched it. Does anyone have any suggestions for very gentle, non-triggering, restful animes I can try? I have Netflix and Amazon Prime. Thanks! <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 I really loved "the whisper of the heart". I don't know what your triggers are so not sure about what can I recommend but I think thisone was very nice. Check the https://www.doesthedogdie.com/media/97789 for possible trigger warnings just to be sure if you want.

I thought "Laid-Back Camp" was a very chill watch.
If you want something with a little more energy in it, I would also recommend "Haikyuu" though it's a sports anime, the author does a great job of making you care for and fall in love with the characters you're watching.

I would recommend Komi Can’t Communicate and Bocchi the Rock. Both are about the main characters struggling with social anxiety while wanting to make friends and achieve their dreams. It’s silly and heartwarming, and I personally find the social anxiety aspect relatable.
Have you tried studio Ghibli films? Most are quite heartwarming but there might be some scenes with the stuff in our veins and also foot liquids but I’m pretty sure ‘My Neighbour Totoro’ should be okay with little triggers but the main characters’ mother has an illness so there might be some worry and sadness in the film about that. I would definitely recommend this if you haven’t tried it yet ((: Also there’s ‘Kiki’s delivery service’ which should be also pretty good with a slight bit of romance. Potential triggers are loneliness and self-doubt though.
