Gift if the person giving it put a lot of thought into it and/or knows it’s something I would like or can use; cash if they’re unsure on what to get me or if we’re not that close. Regardless, they needn’t feel obligated to give me anything, although it’s very nice of them to do so. :)
@lucy2 I prefer a personal thoughtful gift from someone, it doesn't need to be fancy. Just something from them that I can always keep as a personal reminder of them <3
