My sister loves scary movies and convinced me to watch US with her, I do not like horror at all. And that terrified me, when I tell you I was sleeping in the corner in fear. If I sleep in the corner no one can snatch me from behind. Everyone knows monsters are not legally allowed to harm you if your body is in the blanket.

@Tinywhisper11 Horror movies don't ever scare me, but Come Play scared me so bad- and then there's the newer movie Thanksgiving, but that wasn't scary it was just really gross and explicit and I ended up🤮

It’s terrifying
In my late teens I read a sci-fi story by Harlan Ellison entitled "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream". It was in an anthology of short stories with the same title. The story didn't scare me outright but it was a sobering tale...it might be scary for ppl who read it today, however. Mainly because of how quickly AI is advancing. I recommend it.
As a grown man, I'm not usually scared by what I read. The most disturbing story I've read in recent years, though...it would be The Road by Cormac McCarthy, hands down. The bleakest possible future for humanity at large.

When i was a kid i watched "The Ring" and for 1-2 years i was scared of my TV. I feared that the girl would come out of the TV. 😄
