What are some obscure kids' movies you liked/watched when you were younger?
Dink the Little Dinosaur: Total Land Before Time knockoff lol
Fievel Goes West: a classic!
Kimba the White Lion: Very early anime. Rumor has it that Disney stole Lion King from Kimba. (Google it, it's super interesting)
The Pebble and the Penguin: I don't remember the movie, but I know I watched it lol
Trumpet of the Swan: Dorky but decently lived up to the book. The book can't be beat though!
The Prince of Egypt: Those songs and special effects still put me in awe to this day.
We're Back!: I can't believe how depressing this movie was, and yet I still watched it countless times lol
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe: The original, animated version!

@jesusredeemedme2425 I was never a child or watched tv. But I've seen clips of this cool fantasy film called the neverending story. It looks pretty cool
And if your going for obscure kids movies, then I've also seen clips of this terrifying animation about rabbits, called watership down😮😮 I don't think even adults should watch that😮😮

Yeah, I’ve heard horror stories about that movie O.O There’s a newer version that I love. It’s CGI and much nicer to watch lol
If you ever have access to movies at all, make sure you watch The Land Before Time! It’s such a beautiful movie <3 TW: Animated dinosaur dies. Nothing graphic, just emotional.

@jesusredeemedme2425 I have a tv😁 but only watched it once or twice, for some reason it was triggering flashbacks. The psychiatrist said, it's the movements on the screen along with the sound that confuses my brain and triggers flashbacks. But the last few months I have been able to watch clips my carers have been showing me😁 they are all funny clips, I like funny things. I'm getting a bit better at watching them. So hopefully soon, I'll be ready to watch tv😁❤

oh wow ): that is not fun *destroys the TV* I'm glad you have been able to start watching it again! i don't watch a lot of tv because it lets my brain wander and then i start to think and we all know how that ends xD i do watch shows when im crocheting a lot, as background noise, but sometimes they talk about icky topics and i freak out ):

My family got rid of TV for many years and our lives were so much better because of it <3 We watched educational and fun DVDs (yeah, back when streaming services didn’t exist lol) (WAIT NETFLIX HAS EXISTED FOR *checks Google* 26 YEARS???????) O.O
If you want a gentle, mindless show for crocheting, watch Gilmore Girls. That’s my go-to mindless background show <3 Super funny and gentle and relaxing <3

oh me and my family watched gilmore girls! we are currently watching house MD, its fun, we watch it every night while i crochet! <3

I wonder if it’s a sense of overwhelm, you were abused while a TV was on, or your mind just hasn’t gotten used to seeing things moving so fast, after not watching it your whole life?

watership down is a novel, its really boring TvT i literally love rabbits and its so boringggggggg ): i also love classic literature so idk what the issue is

animal farm was amazing!! i loved it, a personal favorite of mine. you might like The Plague Dogs by Richard Adams, its really good
