Logistics.
In military affairs there's a saying: "Amateurs study tactics/strategy; professionals study logistics." No matter how great a battle plan you have or how well-organized & trained your people are, without food water & supplies nothing will be accomplished. That goes for any civilian organization that travels, also.
I like that. Logistics are important. You can’t go to war without toilet paper. I mean, you can, but it would be quite uncomfortable lol

@PhantomFaery The beginnings of language... People started doing that before the Neolithic revolution. I would think sitting around a campfire in the evenings had a lot to do with it.
