@BlueDarkAurora thankyou ❤ I'm actually really proud of my art😁 I only have my thumbs and two fingers left on each hand, so it took a lot of patience and effort, to be even able to hold a pencil. I couldn't do that a few years ago ❤

@slowdecline48 actually I was asked to draw that for my carers daughter, she's a big fan of Tim Burton😁 so I tried to draw edward scissorhands, beetlejuice, Sweeny todd. And the nightmare before Christmas characters. Then we got the clock part, fitted it together, and we actually made a real working clock, as a present for her ❤

@genericbeing I would post the full story but its made up of 7 separate long stories. I wrote this series of tales revolving around special supernatural/undead beings who instead of being evil or bad are actually the good guys. Its like a cross between Underworld, the X-Men, and more. Set in modern times these being are all unique in their type and design. There's the basic; vampires, werewolves, but also specters, being who who can control leviathans, one with a steampunk heart, one controls spiders, another controls crows, immortal monster hunters, wicked murderers, and necromancers. There's tons of action/romance and surprises. I wish I could say the name of it but then people could look it up and my anonymous-ness would be gone on here. It took me years and years to write, and it ends quite epically. One of my favorite stories I've ever written.

I sanded & refinished one of my canes earlier this week. I built it a while ago, too...this is the handle of the 8th cane so far. (There's a story behind them)

I wanted to get going on refinishing another one (my 5th--it needs it. Badly) but the weather ain't cooperating... Would also like to alter my other two canes here & there before year's end. I doubt I'll get either one of them done.

😆 Hey, it ain't all bad. Consider the advantages...y'all don't have gators crawling into your back yards, for one! You probably don't have a lot of insects around all year, either. We do.
@slowdecline48 Gnarly, you should add a sweet pommel that's like the defining signature of all canes.
@genericbeing If I didn't make 'em with handles, I'd consider it. My canes are all functional mobility aids first. The closest I've come to a pommel so far is on the 6th cane (not pictured)...the handle is short. It's shaped vaguely like a bird's head.
