Laughter, it's said, is the best medicine. There's lots of evidence that laughter is good for our health.

- It reduces pain and blood sugar and increases glucose tolerance and tolerance to discomfort.

- It can even increase our job performance, especially for work that depends on creativity and solving complex problems.

- Its role in intimate relationships is vastly underestimated as it synchronizes the brains of the speaker and listener to make them emotionally attuned.

Can you think of other benefits of laughter?

Exercise:

Think of three funny things you experienced during a given day. Describe how and why they happened. Did you directly participate in this, did you observe it, or was it spontaneous?

@globalBraid3744 Great post, Braid! I'll have to think about this one. Since I work remotely, I don't have the fun of experiencing lots of laughter each day. I may need to seek that out to get the benefits of it!
