Turning Points
What were some of the non-tragic turning points in your life? <3

Learning that small and inconsistent process is better than none at all and letting go of all or nothing mindset. Started to focus on the "eh. Better this poorly executed step than nothing" instead of I can't do it perfectly so I won't even try. A major game changer, as all the small ehhhhs will add up over time.
Second turning point was my teacher telling us to stop waiting on ourselves. If there is a decision we need to make about something and don't know how or when we will be ready. Just make it now. Think it through and pick one. But don't procrastinate on it by pushing it for later, especially if it isn't important in the big picture.
In practice, it looks like this:
You want to buy a wallet. You enter a store that has a fair enough quality and pricing. You check their options and see quite a few fair enough ones. Instead of uhhhhh I don't know, I will think about it and come back later, you look at it and do the thinking now. They have blue, red and green in a cut that works for you. Make your pick.

One was really embracing my own desires and curiosity, it’s thrilling how much it can change the way you feel alive every day
