What's the best advice you've ever heard?

Hi everyone,
What's the best advice you've ever heard?
We love to hear from you! Feel free to tag your friends too.
I don't remember the exact wording, but it was something like "Don't let past patterns determine your present." I like this, because it doesn't put pressure on me (or let alone blame) like so many other advices.
@Pufflama
I agree with that! It's such a positive quote! Thank you for sharing this! :)

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. See, it isn't that bad!

The best advice I ever recieved was from Priyanka Chopra. She is my inspiration. I love her bold personality. In one of her speeches she said "Don't try too hard to impress others. There will always be a person who will have complains. You can't please everyone, so, be confident and do what you wish to."
A lot her words have inspired me and made me feel confident. I am such a big fan.
to love yourself! Be aware of the emotions you are feeling and don't forget to listen to them

" Treat others how you want to be treated by others " it's a advice which I read somewhere and totally agreed .

I agree with this! It's nice to be reminded of it. Thank you for sharing! :)
Not your monkeys...not your circus.
I say it all the time. It reminds me what's my responsibility and what isn't and helps me set and keep clear boundaries.
Say it...and see if it doesn't work for you

More than one, so for now one of the best I've heard is ~ 'Listen'
If you have nothing good to say, keep your mouth shut
@SummerBreeze00 I'm not sure it counts as advice, but an empowering phrase I have engraved in my heart is, "respect my existence or expect my resistance". It just always reminds me of how strong I am and how much i can't wait to get far away from my toxic household
The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second best time to plant a tree is today.
I think it's about not dwelling on something that you should have done, or giving up. Just because you didn't do it before, doesn't mean that you can't do it now.
