A few weeks ago I started scavenging concrete rubble from construction sites in town. Am doing it because at some point my property will need infill, so when I finally build a house the ground will be high enough that it won't be part of a flood zone. Normally infill is something you pay for...until the time comes, if I can get any of it for free, I certainly will.
Here's the pile so far:
It's about as tall as the top edge of my truck's tailgate now. Gonna add more material as it becomes available.
