Hmm…probably pasta with my best friend’s authentic Italian sauce recipe, with a side of bread and chocolate chip cookies with ice cream for dessert. A lot of carbs and sugar, I know, but I’m a sucker for these foods. 😋🍝🥖🍪🍨

Lol sure, as long as you’re fine with my dog begging for attention and a cut of the food 😆 But please don’t give him anything dogs can’t eat. Maybe I should make peanut butter cookies as well, just for him…

Yes they can! 😊 Peanut butter is a good source of protein for them, as well as a popular treat amongst most dogs. I made peanut butter for my dog’s birthday last year and he couldn’t get enough of them! I just had to distribute them over a good course of time to make sure he didn’t get too much sugar and fat in one go.
Another dog-safe dessert flavor is plain vanilla. (Not vanilla extract; that contains alcohol.) So you can also treat dogs to a scoop of vanilla ice cream on a hot day!
I wonder how much dogs can taste? Do they have a refined palette we don’t know about? (Did I spell that wrong lol)

I don’t know how much they can taste, but I’ve heard their ability to smell is amazing. Taste and smell are linked together, so I would imagine they have a strong sense of taste. (This is why when one is sick or congested, foods taste blander to them.) I can guess how much a certain food interests my dog depending on how much he sniffs the air while sitting in front of me begging for a piece. And if he’s licking his chops and wagging his tail, then he reallllly wants it.
You didn’t spell palette wrong, but you did confuse it with palate (I had to check first because I got confused as well). Palette is the board that holds paint colors for artists; palate is the part of the mouth that you were referring to.
Dogs will eat garbage and worse, so it makes one wonder XD
