Teen Discussion Survey
We want your feedback !
We see discussions/support sessions as a way for our members to explore topics/get support with people that are interested or relate to the topic personally. To do this successfully we need to know when you can attend sessions and what sessions you feel would be beneficial to yourselves. As suggested in the group support open house last week, a survey has been created for this purpose.
We will do our very best to accommodate the needs found in the survey, however please also note that sometimes volunteer availability and overall need will also impact this.

What time are you able to attend discussions?, below is diagram showing current results to this question.
What discussion topics would you like? A lot of the topics stated we already provide discussions on them which is awesome! However some that will be added are:
More Games nights / lighthearted games/ trivia
Stress Awareness & How to cope with stress as a Teenager
Over protective parents
More support on child abuse as a topic
More discussions on general mental health
Teen Stigma Sessions
Self Care
Keeping healthy while pregnant
Other topics raised were topics that were specific to each of our support rooms that we already cover. However if anyone would like any other discussion topic or feels I missed something and you have not seen it happening please feel free to pm myself.
What do you enjoy about discussions? Overall the survey shared discussions were enjoyable because:
- They make the room focus on supporting each other
- We have some great discussion leaders
- People are focused and supporting one another
- Having fun and getting to know people
- Feeling that I am not alone
- That I can help others
How can we improve our discussions?
- Making them more accessable for different time zones
- Increase the amount of them
- Increase the variety that are being lead
- More listeners attending so they able to support the members
